GQ Names Rema As One Of The ’27 Musicians To Make 2020 Better’

Nigerian singer, #Rema has been listed by the American magazine, GQ as one of the ’27 Musicians to make 2020 better’.
Rema who appeared on the GQ magazine alongside Roddy Ricch, Doja Cat, Ari Lennox amongst others was listed as one of the 27 musicians making 2020 better.
GQ described him the 20-year-old singer as:-
““Arguably the first and most important thing you need to know about Nigerian artist Rema is that he’s already been endorsed by Barack Obama, who featured his track “Iron Man” on his 2019 playlist.

Wizkid FC Trolls Davido For Doing This

It appears the recent #Davido achievements didn’t sit well with majority of those who stan #Wizkid – The WizKid FC
All through from yesterday night when Davido’s 1 Billion streams milestone was announced, there has been subliminals playing down this achievement.
Some attributes the huge success to the fact that Davido included songs like Fall, IF and Assurance to
the album which were songs he released three years ago. Perhaps they were pained.

Tiwa Savage Features Davido On Upcoming Album, ‘Celia’

Female Afro-pop singer and performer, #Tiwa Savage,
has announced that her male colleague, #Davido, is featured on her upcoming album, Celia. This announcement was made known to the public on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 via her official #Twitter handle.
The singer expressed her happiness about the musical collaboration between the two Afropop stars by writing:

“OBO vocals are in SOS SOS SOS savage soldiers make we give 30BG geng 3 gbosas celia the album.””
This announcement comes two weeks after she released her new single, “Dangerous Love” on all
digital streaming platforms.
Celiathealbum will be released under her current record label, Universal Music Group.

Davido’s A Good Time Album Racks Up ONE Billion Streams

It’s cerebration galore for #Davido as his album, A Good Time which was released in November has
attained a new milestone.
His label, Columbia, a subsidiary of Sony Music today announced the album has had a Billion streams over the last few months of release.
It comes after Fall, one of the hit singles off the album was certified Gold in US and Canada.

Erigga Set To Drop New Album

Nigerian rapper, #Erigga on July 27, 2020, announced the release of his fifth album, ‘Growth.’
Erigga announced he will be dropping a new album which he titles “Growth”. The album will be a follow up to his 2019 project, ‘The Erigma 2’
As of this time, we’re unaware of the release date for the album or any additional details.
The announcement came via Erigga‘s Twitter account when he wrote, “New album on the way… “ Growth”
Erigga joins the like of #Burna Boy, #Davido, #Patoranking, #Olamide amongst others that will soon be dropping their projects this year.
